How we met, fell in love, and decided to spend forever together
Fall 2013
Where It All Started
Matt and Danielle first met in Latin class during freshman year of high school. They never dated or even hung out much outside of school, but they always had fun together. There was just something about the other person that stuck with them.
2017
Graduation & Going Their Separate Ways
They graduated high school and headed off to college, going their own ways the way most people do. But some people have a way of finding their way back.
2019
A Familiar Face
Their paths crossed again when Matt ran into Danielle while visiting his friend Jared at school. A reminder that some connections don't fade, even with time and distance.
Summer 2023
The Text That Changed Everything
Matt was living in Denver at the time, but while home visiting family, he decided to take a chance and text Danielle out of the blue to see if she wanted to catch up. She said yes. They went to dinner, and the rest, as they say, is history.
October 2025
The Proposal
Matt planned an elaborate scavenger hunt along Boston's historic Freedom Trail, leading Danielle through the city on an adventure she didn't see coming. The final stop was the bridge in the Boston Public Garden, where Matt got down on one knee. She said yes.
October 2026
The Wedding
And now, surrounded by the people they love most, Matt and Danielle are making it official. From a Latin classroom to the Boston Public Garden and beyond, the best is yet to come.
